Ngoc Nguyen. <- Sounds Like Knock!

Growing up, I was a shy and quiet girl who kept a journal and a shoe box full of photos. I still prefer pen and paper and hard copies of photos but I wanted to share my life and my experiences with more friends and family.

I’m an avid traveller and am typically the go-to person when people need tips for the next adventure. I’m very much a low-key solo backpacker that travels without an agenda and books accommodations as she goes along. My first solo trip changed my life. It taught me that I could take on the world by myself. It forced me to get out of my comfort zone, meet new friends and it opened me up to this beautiful world of ours.

I’ve also been a very crafty DIY type of person from a  young child and although I’m no expert, I will try to share fun projects that I think would be easy for others to also accomplish.

Outside of my 9-5 job, I’m also a freelance photographer and marketing consultant.  Current clients include teaBOT Inc., Science Ninjas Inc., and tea & bloom.
